Shared Services / Outsourcing Sales Leader

$200K – $250K

You will help our client to grow their customer base and generate new sales.

In this role, you should have a great network, bring in leads and be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfil them; and convert leads to a sale. If you have a background in sales and knowledge of Shared Services and Outsourcing, we’d like to meet you.

The person

You will be a self-starter, able to work without close supervision and have a successful sales record, ideally in the professional services and technology sectors. You will have experience of understanding client needs and challenges and being solution orientated in solving those challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with key contacts within one’s network
• Own sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them
• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
• Create plans to address clients’ business needs, advise clients on creating profitable processes
• Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, practice leads, engineers, senior management) to address customers’ need
• Maintain accurate client records on our CRM system
• Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss
• Report on key KPIs related to the lead and the opportunity waterfall in order to implement a consistent closed loop between marketing and sales
• Thorough reporting and analytics, validate the quality of the lead and pipeline data and provide guidance to improve the overall data quality
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback

• At least 10 years’ experience of working as a sales professional in a professional services or technology services context
• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g., revenue numbers, TCV)
• Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
